What is CBD?
CBD is an increasingly popular natural alternative for a number of physical and mental health deficiencies. However, there is a lot of confusion surrounding CBD because the compound is attributed to marijuana similar side effects and ability to alter consciousness. In fact, however, CBD is one of a hundred different natural compounds or cannabinoids contained in the hemp plant, which, unlike another well-known cannabinoid, THC, does not have an intoxicating effect. CBD is not psychoactive and is not classified as a narcotic. CBD is valued instead thanks to its medicinal and therapeutic effects.
CBD affects each person differently, according to the individual state of body and mind
CBD helps identify weak links and health problems in the body and solve them through the endocannabinoid system. The endocannabinoid system is a biological system similar to the immune system that plays a major role in controlling many vital processes, such as the functioning of the nervous system and metabolism. Unlike drugs, where one specific drug is created for each concern, the endocannabinoid system works like the immune system, finding the problem that needs treatment and trying to “repair” it with the body’s own resources. To date, research has proven the positive effects of CBD on: inflammation, sleep disorders, anxiety, joint problems, seizures, weight problems. The list is long and constantly updated based on new research.
Power source to combat mood and sleep disorders
Oils of different strengths have been developed to use CBD. The choice depends on the person’s daily routine, age and the problem to be alleviated. For general prophylaxis (for example, to reduce inflammation, to support the functioning of the immune system, to maintain joint health, to simply maintain good health), thinner CBD oils with up to 10% cannabinoid content are suitable. Stronger oils with a 30% content are effective in relieving anxiety. Consistent use of the oil has also shown results in sleep disorders, restoring concentration, and reducing stress and depression.
Relieves skin problems
The skin is the largest organ of the human body and forms an important part of the endocannabinoid system. The thousands of tiny receptors in the skin bind to CBD in exactly the same way as receptors in the brain or digestive system, and are also susceptible to CBD’s healing properties. This means that cosmetic products with CBD content, when entering the skin, find the main concern of a specific skin type and promote the synthesis of new, healthy skin cells to solve this problem. Whether the problem is acne, pigment spots, scars or micro-tears due to dryness – CBD skin products have helped people around the world to get their skin back to a healthy state.
Problems can always be prevented! CBD nourishes the skin with high-quality active ingredients and helps to slow down premature signs of aging such as wrinkles, dull complexion or rough and dry skin.
