Inflammation in the digestive system is an increasingly common problem for people of all ages. Inflammatory bowel disease, which can present as Crohn’s disease or ulcerative colitis, has the potential to significantly damage intestinal mucosa and destroy intestinal cells. Phytocannabinoids (cannabinoids obtained from plants) have been proven to support the reduction of inflammation, tissue regeneration and the health of the gut microbiome.
Cannabigerol (CBG) is a phytocannabinoid with a strong anti-inflammatory effect, which, based on customer feedback, provides considerable benefits in helping to manage Crohn’s disease symptoms (read Alex Emberton MRes’ #pellpeople experience here). The composition of our soft extract product is complex and supports long-term body recovery whilst also providing immediate relief of pain and discomfort. The use of specific products in combination has received encouraging feedback from IBD patients.
Why use a combination of products and not just CBG? Cannabinoids always work better in diverse combinations, improving bodily absorption and efficacy. CBG isolate has excellent anti-inflammatory properties on its own, but can better support the body as part of a combination. The spectrum of cannabinoids in the 30% medium extract help to relieve pain and discomfort, and in the long term, restore the health of the gut microbiome and aid the process of intestinal recovery. The combo consists of 30% Medium full-spectrum CBD extract and 10% CBG isolate – designed for regular use to give an immediate effect.
Usage:
Use the products together but not at the same time.
CBG isolate – 2-3 drops or sprays per day are sufficient. Use after a meal. Let the isolate absorb under the tongue without swallowing. An increase in appetite may occur as a side effect.
The 30% medium extract can be used several times a day. When using for the first time, do not exceed 3-4 drops or sprays per day until you get a feel for the immediate calming effect of the product. This may take a week or two in some cases.
